...whether anti-depressants suppress creativity?
ive just started on them and am studying on a photography degree and am extremely worried im going to lose all sense of creativity and inspiration.
anyone got any thoughts or experiences on this?
i would be really grateful for any thoughts :)

Hi, from my personal experience of Anti-depressants i didnt find they supressed creativity (i paint and am a guitarist in spare time), i wouldnt say they affected it any more than reguar mood fluctuations do.

I would however say benzodiazepines have a negative effect on creativity (i guess coz they supress CNS). But everyones different, so i think its a case of try it and see

I don't find that anti depressants affect my creativity, but having depression definately does affect my creativity. The anti depressants CURE the depression for me.
