I have quite alot of different symptoms over the last few days which are really worrying me!

I feel tired and weak alot but that is nothing unusual!

I keep feeling like i'm not breathing properly or at all! my stomach feels like its not rising properly and it feels like something is stuck below my lungs and is stopping me from breathing like i am suffocating, i am getting this feeling 24/7 my peak flow hasnt be brilliant but i do worry its ablood clot or someting life threatening like that!

Also another symptom i seem to be getting 24/7 is that i feel like a brick is stuck below my adams apple and it feels like its choking me 24/7 and thats another very worrying thing as well.

These symptoms never seem to go away i wish they would go away even for awhile its making me more worried.

Hi, dont worry about these symptoms hun, they are just another part of the anxiety, when you start to feel anxious all the muscles in your body tense up and you get the feeling that there is something stuck in your throat, also if you concentrate on your breathing, you tend to breathe differently, making it feel like you cannot get a deep breathe. Try to breathe from your stomach and take long deep breathes, i was told to put my hand on my stomach so that i could feel it rising and falling, it really does help.
Take care,

The throat thing is extremely common indeed . Nothing there to be concerned with .

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

Hi Andrew,

It is sooo hard when you are suffering anxiaty 24/7. I was like this
after my first PA:( The hardest thing I found was to eccept that
anxiaty can make you feel like this 24/7. After finding this site it
was only then I began to exccept this. It was a reply to me by Meg
and others that my thougths were keeping these symptoms going.
For me I had know other reason going on in my life to keep these
symptoms going only that I feard them or feard the worse.
I began thinking positive thoughs, telling myself that the symptoms
I had were anxity and I WOULD get better.
This did not happen over night it took alot of hard work fighting with
Mrs anxiaty's negative thougths and me putting positive one's in.
Read through all the post Meg has given you and take comfort in
knowing that you are not alone in this and it is anixaty.
As time goes on with all your positive thinking it WILL go away for
awhile and as more time goes on it WILL stay away.
Keep fighting with positive thougts Andrew.
You WILL win in the end.

TAKE CARE
