alot of times before having an anxiety attack or before getting even a little on edge, im always daydreaming. i sit there and i stare and its like i cant snap myself out of it. and sometimes when i do, ill look around and start to get nervous. also when im laying in bed alot ill sit and daydream, although i dont get ancey or panicy when im in my room. does this happen to anyone else? and if so, how can i keep myself from doing it?

Hi Jenn

I have been a daydreamer for years.

I was always getting told off for doing it at school.

Daydreaming is fairly spontaneous and is a state in which conscious awareness of what is going on around you isn't there.
Sort of like REM sleep.
It is your brains way of taking a rest, resolving difficulties, planning what you would like to do or remembering the past.

I'm not sure if there is a cure for daydreaming. - the only thing I can think of is to practice staying more in the moment.

Love, light and Best wishes
