Citalopram Withdrawl

I have been tapering my citalopram dosage for a couple of months now I have went from 30mg to 10mg and next week onto 5mg.

Could anyone tell me when the side-effects wear off and how anyone feels after stopping citalopram. Any positive post citalopram stories just need to know that it will be ok.

Hi rowantree I was on them for 8 months. I went from 30mg to 20mg for one month and then 10mg for 1 month and then nothing. I got no withdrawal symptoms whatsoever. However I have had to go back on them as I drank alcohol and this took me back to square one. It will be ok, just do it slowly.
