weird lump on head

hi all
been getting on quite well lately until today
i have had a lump on my head for a long while but recently been more aware of it, possibly due to anxiety!!
Its on the bottom of my skull on the left and docs think it is just bone and nothing to worry about but i am worried.
anyone have any advice?

Hi ya,

Yes I had this a few years ago and it turned out to be a Cyst in which is highly safe but I had it removed because it was giving me hassles when brushing my hair and scraping it. I'm sure that's all it sounds like.

thanks for the advice - its weird though as it is part of my skull i dont catch it as such but have days when it feels more obvious. i cant imagine having it cut out as it feels like part of my head -does that sound odd??
so worried its something awful - i am booked in for an mri scan in two weeks because i have balance problems but finding it hard to wait.
