blood problem

hi all, im new to this site and wonder if anyone else has got or had the same problem as me, my doc says i am making. too many red blood cells and i had to have five sessions of venesection, my blood went back to normal for a while but its now gone up again, i cancelled one appointment with the specialist so i have been sent a new one, im so scared that i will have to have the venesections again that i am making myself quite ill, can anyone help me please. many thanks carol
