Well I went to see a new psychiatrist at all and even though I was pretty much decided not to start new meds I have decided I will try one more. It is called Luvox. I am not sure about it's name or use in the UK, but it is similar, but not as harsh I guess as Prozac. The therapeutic dose is about 250-300 mgs, and typical starting is 50 mg but with my bad reaction in the past he is only starting me at half a 25 mg tablet for 2 weeks, increasing by 12.5 mg every two weeks for the first two months. I am anxious and excited. It is the only med I read about that is designed specifically to treat OCD, my main issue. I plan to start Friday night. Wish me luck!!!!
