HI ! YES THESE ARE MORE EXPENSIVE,THATS THE REASON YOU WERNT GIVEN THEM TO START I WOULD THINK. THE TIREDNESS IN MY CASE HAS IMPROVED,BUT AM TIRED WHEN I WAKE, THE COLD WEATHER DONT HELP MUCH ....I HAVE BEEN TAKING THEM NOW FOR 4MONTHS BUT HAVE GRADUALLY INCREASED MY DOSE DURING THIS TIME ,SO HOPE THINGS WILL CONTINUE TO GET BETTER,ONLY BEEN ON MY LAST INCREASE FOR 5 WEEKS SO AM FOREVER THE OPTIMIST.LUV SUZY:hugs:

Hi there

I was on citalopram for 5 yrs and changed to cipralex in march so nearly a year. cipralex is a purer drug and has less side effects and the reason its prescribed less as suzy su says is the money - its abot 30p for citalopram per box and about 30 pounds for cipralex.
