View Full Version : Holiday next Monday
Hello, i should be extremely excited about spending 2 weeks on a lovely island in the Maldives, but i'm not, because i am another sufferer of these awful panic attacks. Didn't know what it was until about 2 weeks ago, and have been doing as much as i can to try and get better before my hol, breathing slowly etc and had a couple of hours private counselling, but i'm absolutely terrified about getting to the airport and being on a plane in a confined space for about 10 hours, what am i going to do?? :(
Anyone have any help or ideas for me please? thanks

I know how you feel i went away a few weeks ago and was really worried especially about the flight,
Take lots of thing to distract u i got the on board movie and pretended i was at the pictures, or a cd with yr fav music on, some magazines for easy reading, or cross word puzzles, have u tried rescue remedy,
Just picture the beach and a nice cool drink when u get there,

The Maldives is a wonderful place.I went diving there a few years ago.
One of our members went there recently on honeymoon and was totally anxiety free.
