After an attack

I'd just like to hear if anyone else experiences symptoms similar to mine after a panic attack. I find that even if I stand up or walk across a room it makes my heart beat like mad, it nows makes me scared to even move for hours after!

Yes I can relate to this and even find without an attack I can get it at night before going to bed. I think it is linked to nerve exhaustion. After a panic attack our bodies have been through the wringer and so very exhausted. When we become active after that then the body is working in a tired state so you can get palps and feel that your body is overworking. I usually try to give myself a good rest after a panic attack to allow the body time to recover. It doesn't always happen but I find that when attacks are particularly severe this can be the case.
