Epididymal Cyst.

I have just been diagnosed with having an Epididymal cyst under my left testicle. For the past couple of weeks I have been getting a dull ache in my left testicle and radiating upwards towads my lower abdomen and I really thought it was something serious. The cyst is very small and harmless and is common in adults. It requires no treatment. However If it becomes too painful then I can get it removed. The doctor said he got one too and has had it for years but refuses to get it removed as he hates the idea of anyone going near is goolies. I was just wondering if anyone else has one and how they are coping with it. Mine is tolerable but can be uncomfortable at times

Hi.

I was diagnosed as having one about 10 or so years ago. I was convinced it was testicular cancer but the doctor said it was harmless, just be careful not to catch it etc. It really doesn't seem to bother me at all.
