View Full Version : Quirks
So, I am on my second course of Citalopram in 5 years and I have noticed little tics and quirks that this medication bring about (which disappear over time) - not the well written about dry mouth, loss of appetite, sleep disturbance anxiety etc but the little things - so I thought I'd put it out to you lot as an experiment. Some of these may just be me, but we can compare:
Getting a song stuck on in your head for ages
ringing in the ears
vivid dreams
an itchy right ear (!)
agitation
getting jittery
trembles
what about you?
Bob..
Funny with the itchy right ear...I keep getting a itchy left eye...
also filled teeth feel sensitive..
also restless leg syndrome...when i wake up night or morning..feels like I've got to move my right leg backwards and forwards..and then it goes...

Omgosh, I get really restless legs too, and jaw clenching. When I wake up in the morning my jaw can really ache and I have to do stretching exercises on it.
I have noticed I get wind, too. I have always had ibs type symptoms including wind, but since I started the cit. I've found I have had more wind  Although, I do think my ibs issues have actually improved a little; I am not so constipated as I was before I started taking them, I'm actually getting a better routine :)

^^ I think citralopram has affected my sex drive also. I mean, I didn't feel so interested before hand because of depression, but now... sitting in bed with a cup of tea is about all I am interested in! :whistles:
