Hi all,
I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone but I keep getting days when I just cant seem to clear my throat at all. It really feels like I need to clear it but when I try to nothing happens. I have had it a few times now but am not sure, it seems to last a long time. I'm not feeling particularly anxious at the time which makes me wonder if it is anxiety or not?

thanks, Lucy x

Having strange feelings in the throat as quite common. Feeling like it's a little blocked is normal and it sounds like this is what you are experiencing. Don't worry about it..:D

Hi Lucy,

Oh yes I know that feeling well.

Please don't worry I to get days when I spend the whole time cough cough trying to clear my throat.

I'm sure it's anxiety related. Even if you think you not anxious you get the sensation in your throat which makes you feel anxious. Even if you wern't to begin with. It can be a vicious circle huh!!!!

Take care,

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

Hi Lucy

I had a similar problem not so long ago which is something I had never had before and my GP gave me a nasal spray to help reduce the symptoms

I think it is all part of anxiety at times, but I have to say the spray has helped considerably

Speak to you GP if you are worried
