Help! Black Mole changed overnight!!!

Hi All, i have this balck mole just under my nipple which i have had for about 4 years,never seemed to bother me untill a few month ago i read sumthin on the internet about skin cancer moles,every since i have been panicking about it ever since thinking its goin bigger which i dont think it has,i dont know weather its just me thinking and looking at it constantly i think its goin bigger, its nice and round and same colour all the way through but this last week its been ichy around it,and i just woke up this morn and it has a light brown outline around the edge of the mole!! i am so worried i have left it to long :weep: :weep: .i have been to the doctors and the first time he said its nowt to worry about but due to having anexity i went back agen about the ichyness and he said ok al remove it but its not till another 3week!!!! Am worried out of my mind and i think it shud be done stright away,like they say it can be cured nearly 100% it caught early!! if i went a&e would they remove it ther stright away or would they refer me to a mole specialist which would be another few week!!! please help/advice ??

Unfortunatley, A&E wouldn't remove the mole, probably just book you in to have it removed at a later date.

3 weeks may seem like forever away, but it's actually a relativley short wait for it to be done.

Nothing to worry about - my aunty had malignant melanoma on her wrist and it was very obvious - about the size of a 2p piece with bright red inflamed edge and it was itchy and bleeding. She had ignored it for momths:ohmy: before seeing Dr and was referred immediatley to plastic surgeon who wanted to take it off same week but she was going on holiday to america for a month so refused:wacko: . She had her op on return and that was 15 yrs ago and she is now 80 yrs old.

so your 3 weeks if not long in medical terms and even if your Dr was worried it was malignant melanoma which he obviously isn't you would still wait the same amount of time anyway.

Please try and think of something else or tis going to be a long 3 weeks.

Nope doesn't sound like malignancy at all....I wouldn't worry.

I am sure you have nothing to worry about, your Dr would have had removed it on your first visit if he thought it was anything to worry about. I am sure he is going to remove it just to reasure you that it isn't anything sinister.

Hang in there and try not to worry, you will be wondering why you were so worried in a few weeks time.

thanks guys for the comments,i am trying not to worry and i have coverd the mole with a big plaster so i carnt constantly look at it,i am goin to MOLE CLINIC in Superdrug,has anyone ever been to one off these clinics??,they can tell you ther and then if it is cancerous or not with will be a good thing for me cause i heard you have to wait few week for the biopsy to come back from the doctorswhich will be moer worrying for me
