My mouth has been so dry since I started Amotriptoline. Not sure if this is the drug or my upset tummy that is causing this. Anyone help?
yes it does make your mouth dry also anxiety on it's own can cause you to have a dry mouth. I have this constantly and you will always see me with a bottle of water.
My mum is on Amotriptoline for her depression and she finds it leaves her with a dry mouth sometimes she even gets unsightly white marks at the the corner of her mouth.
Hope this helps.
Take carexx

Thank you :)
Hi Heeby
I have been on Amitriptyline too before, and yes , it definitely dried my mouth too...I found that other anti depressants have the same effect.
