so frustrating

well i have been on cipralex now for nearly 3 weeks i started on 5 mg and the last week i went upto 10 mg and i feel worse not better with my pannic attacks getting worse and worse ,,god i wish these things would hurry up and kick in ,,as i think im going mad

I was on escitalapram for 5 years for panic disorder. I have had 3 relapses in the past 2 years but for the other 3 years this drug really helped me. You may need to go up to 20mg - it can take quite a while for you to feel its full effect - maybe 6 weeks or so. Are you any other type of therapy as well as the meds?
