Freaking out again !!!

I really hate when this happens, have noticed when I extend my hand and fingers and point my index finger downward - a movable softish sort of lump appears on the top of my hand under the skin. What the hell is this - is it related to my arm muscle aches and pains. Is it arthritis? And so the cycle begins - does anyone have this also???

Both my sister and my mother have had small lumps on their hand similar to what you're describing.

It was a ganglion cyst which are common and completely harmless.

Sounds like a Ganglion ..I have seen a few...harmless and treatable if needed. Absolutely nothing to worry about and as Cico said very common. XXX

thanks guys. Will get it checked out. Hopefully all ok, but I have been getting hand\wrist\arm pains which I am not sure are\are not related so hard not to freak out. Can tell my anxiety has gone through the roof again.
