Taking 1st Trazodone tonight...

I have been on Citalopram 20mg for 2 days now(i take 1 every morning) ,and im starting my Trazodone 50mg tonight,ive read on forums for 1st few times it can really knock you out make you really tired is this true or are people just exadurating? would like some feed back of people who have taking 50mg for 1st time please :)

Hi donkaz i started off with 100mg at night
and was a bit fuzzy first thing in morning but after that ok.
Then i went to 200 and now 250mg and im fine with it now but remember and eat when taking it because if i dont i feel terrible for half a hour with palps and dizziness ,trazadone helped me tremendously for anxiety and thats me been on it 3 and a half years

trazadone i think is one of the meds that doesnt give you many side effects if any i was on 150mg at night for over a year only recently came off them cos wasnt helping me but its worth a go taking one to see how you feel unfortunatly theyd knock me out then i was awake an hour later with them hope they work for you and dont worry bout the effects there is hardly any
