Hi, I'm new here, but not new to Health Anxiety. Actually right now, and for the past several months, things are going well with me. I have very low anxiety,and whatever anxiety/health anxiety I have, it is usually quickly managed by me remembering that the sensations/pains I experience is anxiety. So it seems that I should be happy about this. But I'm not.

Well, when I'm having health anxiety, I feel like things are kind of ok with my life. I don't have to notice or deal with all these things I don't want to. It serves me very well.

Why do I have to give it up? What is wrong with having a health anxiety if it helps out in other areas of your life?
