hi there everyone

I have been doing quite well of late and sleeping much better too.

However something is back, and that is a feeling inside that is so very hard to explain. I "think" it might be the ectopics that all speak about but mine is more like a fluttery/empty feelings in the chest area. It's the weirdes thing, something I wake up with and can carry on through the day (having it now).

Does anyone know what I mean or am I just not explaining myself.

hi, i hve been having this feeling for around 2 years now.can last anything from 10 mins to 3-4 hours.i feel for you as it is not a nice feeling.
i do not have it now as for some reason my beta blokers take it away?
i suffered the experience for over 6 months, which in turn created panic not knowing what it was or wat was going on,hence prescribed betas for my racing heart rate from the panic.good news was the beta blockers made it all go away, symptom of anxiety.like yourself i was coping with other symptoms and stopped betas for over a year i was really pleased with my self,a year on for no reason the feeling returned 3 months ago.back with the beta blockers but the feeling has gone again.
none of us want medication but sometimes for a short while if it makes our day to da life better we have to have it.betas are not addictable and do the job for most.
maybe have a chat with your doctor, see what they may suggest?
try not to worry as horrid as it is i am sure all is ok.
take care

I was on 80 slow release beta blockers a day, they made me so lethargic and I felt sickly all the time.... I've just going down to 2 x 20 per day.... maybe that's it

aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh when you think you have it beat........

Having said all that I am not suffering half as badly as I was when it started.

thanks hon
