hello I have heard alot of people mentioning someone called claire weekes on this forum and her podcasts etc.

i am new to this forum and just wanted to collect some general opinions on the effectiveness of these podcasts etc. in beating anxiety and panic.

I think that Claire Weekes is great. I have two of her books, plus the MP3s and I got a DVD with her on from E-Bay some time ago.

Have you heard of Lucinda Bassett? She is at www.stresscenter.com (http://www.stresscenter.com) She is great with anxiety/panic etc and you can try her program for free for 30 days too.

Loved listening to claire weekes and I am not a great fan but she DOES give great advice and her voice is like one of my old teachers, very kind but straight to the point

I will second that. I recently got one of her books and its brilliant. I'm not an avid reader. But i found it quite easy to ready and digest.
