the 17 yr old went to doctors with chest pains 20times, even after tests was told to grow up its just anxiety and 2days later died. turns out was a tumour in his chest which spread to his head! That is awful..if u know something is wrong get a 2nd opinion

the thing is he had blood tests which indicated something not quite right but the doctor ignored them. so take some comfort if you know your doctor looked at your results and acted accordingly. i not only called but went back to the docs and had her look at my results whilst I was there.
remember though these stories make it in the paper because they are uually so rare, hence they make the news.

i try not worry, easy said than done but i reckon the kid was intimidated by the doctor which is awful. so if not happy go to another doctor

Whilst this story is tragic and sad I bet it is EXTREMELY rare and whilst we should seek 2nd opinions if we feel that our doctor is not helping we should keep the faith with our doctors and not let stories like this one fuel our anxiety (there are enough things that fuel mine as it is!)

i completely agree, i know its a rare thing to happen but its just so sad that it has and even when test results came back they still dismissed him-im not saying all doctors are like that just if you arnt happy get a 2nd opinion
