Just a wondering really.... Sometimes I feel quite dizzy and faint and really out of it which I know are signs of anxiety. I can usually calm myself out of them but I just had one at work where I almost felt angry that these signs are attributed to anxiety - in a wierd way i almost want an illness to show for them.
For example to make them understandable to other people and make others more considerate. Ie. if you say to people you have ... (a medical thing) as opposed to anxiety people are better, not so dismissive. Obviously I do not share this opinion. But people i know do. I almost wanted to faint sitting on the chair at work and at least I would get some attention and properly diagnosed as of course I convinced I got an number of cancers etc.

Any thoughts would be great and I really hope I not offended anyone just wondered if you got what i mean.

Thanks x

Wow I totally agree. I think that is one of the hardest parts of anxiety... no one takes it seriously, yet we have the symptoms of something absolutely horrible. Its like the pain of going through something serious, but with no emotional support. People think im nuts, and everyone is done with me "not feeling well"... The problem is, I am just feeling worse and worse. It is so painful to suffer so much and feel so alone.
