View Full Version : I get panic attacks at the most inoppertune moments

I start thinking too much and talking to fast, (usually at social gatherings), and once it begins, it's hard to stop it. I've only controlled three of themn my whole life.

Can anyone recommend some techniques that might help?

I have CBT (Cognitive behaviourial therapy) No Idea if I have spelt that right by the way! LoL

I used to get very bad panic attacks, but with the help of citalopram and CBT i`m gaining control.. slowly!

The castle breathing technique helps me alot (google it)... its basically a breathing excersise which also focuses your mind, so it`s not over thinking! Give it a try x
