Throat cancer

I have had a tickly throat for about a week now.It feels as if something is stuck like hair or cotton wool.My GP checked it on Monday and said it looked fine.I keep worrrying about throat cancer.Can you get throat cancer at 27?

Please help i'm having panic attacks and can't sleep :weep:

Your doctor had a look and everything is fine, please don't worry. Sometimes if you have a hair or the likes in your throat it can take a while to shift. Or just general sore throats can feel that way.

You don't have throat cancer.

Hi,
As Utility said, what you describe is probably due to a local irritation, infection or just anxiety. If it were something more serious (why does it always has to be cancer?) the GP would have spotted it.
