help with this symptom

Hi all

I quite often, more so in the evening, get a gnawing pain in my stomach with an uncomfortable feeling going up to my chest and throat, sometimes feeling like I have a lump behind my chest and throat which seems to give me a funny feeling around my heart, although I know my pulse is ok because i take it. I do this quite often and am trying to get out of the habit. Any thoughts please.

Sounds a lot like Acid reflux, gives kinda a twisting feeling in the stomach which then pain which kinda travels up to the chest/throat. If your eating late in the evening can cause this, as can certain medications, smoking, caffiene and stress/anxiety. Should see a doc if it doesnt improve anyhow for reassurance x
