Metallic Taste ... Please Help!

Hi all Im new to this website.

At the moment I have a really strong taste of metal in my mouth! Im panicking here! Im on antidepressants called propranolol! Can anybody help?

It could be the medicine.

I am a HUGE sufferer from health anxiety, but I choose to do things the natural way of just talking to people, and using mediational therapy.

But, when I got that feeling, I would get my self a giagantic bowel of fresh fruits and induldged my self in them =]

im having trouble breathing and discomfort in the middle of my chest. Im so worried! and the metal taste hasnt gone yet!

I am a massive health anxity sufferer sometimes i get that taste, but i have never really had it longer than a few hours. But its nothing to worry about im sure. X x

mmm if your having pains as well, you could have acid reflux

Hi there - a metallic taste in the mouth can be a zinc deficiency.... easily remedied - just buy some in the chemist in the vitamin section. It's probably your medication though as well - and anxiety but definitely not something to worry about....
