question about TMJ

i've recently had a problem "cracking my jaw"
and once it's cracked i get this aweful weird fluid filled feeling in my ear.
is this normal? and what should i do about it?

Hi,

I have had TMJ for a long long time and when I open my jaw I hear a popping noise. My neurologist and dentist both diagnosed mine. I say neurologist because he thought it might be a part of causing my migraines. I don't ever recall a fluid feeling in my ears though but I suppose everyone is different. I would go see your dentist to see what they can do. Mine has gotten better throughout the years and I try not to open my jaw to the point where it will pop because it seems to irritate it.
