My partner was on Fluoxitine 20mg last year for 3 months and found no side effects what so ever and I my self was on them when I had my son and found that I was ok. Fluoxitine is quite a straight forward Anti-Depressant and I would be highly surprised if you had any side effects.

Hope this helps.

We can all advise about tablets and there will be good and bad advice, but we have to remember that what suits one will not suit another. Hope it works for you and is a great help.

I've been on them for just over a month. I've only experienced extreme tiredness on them. As a result, I've changed to taking them at night.

I'm ok with that though as I've not had nightmares on them...yet.

A fellow forumite here has been on them for about 2 months and they've only just started to kick in.

My Aunty was on them and they took about 7 weeks to take effect.

I still have good days and bad days while I'm on them, but I'm much better than I was.
