Switching from Citalopram to Luvox?

My doctor wants me to switch from citalopram to luvox. i have been on citalopram for 2 months with no real change. I need some advice on this cause i am scared to try something new. anyone on here take luvox? side effects? he wants me to just switch right over from one to the other without weaning of citalopram. any advice would be very helpful cause i am losing my mind. well, it feels like i am.
