Hey there, your a mum, it's normal to worry about your child, you care for his well being. He will be in the best place and taken care off, I am sure you can ask questions when there on the precedure and what's gonna happen, they will understand. Take each moment as it comes, hard I know, be strong for him : )

Well my son had the same thing when he was of a similar age he is 26 now. Please calm down your son is going to be scared himself and needs your support. If you are scared imagine how frightened he will be.

I have nursed quite a few children that have had tonsillectomy's and they have been fine (they love the ice cream afterwards).

Please calm down.
