Toilet anxiety

Does anyone else suffer from this? I have been suffering for years now. I feel like i dont want to go places in case i have to goto the toilet (number two) It is ruining my life.

Hi,

I have this as I suffer from IBS, it's very common. I find it very hard to deal with and now also get frequent and severe nausea when I have to go out which is ruining my life actually. CBT has helped in that I can now avert the panic attacks, but the anxiety is still dreadful. I take far too much Immodium, it's the only way I can get out at times.

I wish I could offer more advice, but I am still trying to find the answer myself. But I can empathise and I do know how you feel, hope you can find some help.

I suffer from this too!
I know how difficult it can be, I go to the extent of taking pills to stop me from needing the toilet when I go out(Which is very unhealthy), Just so I don't have to use the toilet.
It awful to go through, And as of yet I have not overcome it. But i'm right there with you, You're not alone xx.
