I'm never too good with introductions so I guess I'll start off with saying hi. I was diagnosed with anxiety/panic disorder last October when I went to the doctor for my sudden heart palpitations. I even saw a cardiologist. I've had a chest xray done, blood tests, holter monitor, ultrasound and 2 Ekgs for my heart and everything came back normal. I just keep telling myself that everything is fine when I feel pains that are related to heart attacks. They put me on a blood pressure medication for my high pulse rate I had going on. This is difficult to live with and I've been trying to come to grips with everything. Some days are really harder than others for me.
I decided to join this forum because it seems like everyone can relate to one another. I don't think my husband quite understands how difficult this is for me, so I've come here for support and I want to be there for others too if I can help.
