Trazodone...

Has anyone been prescribed Trazodone??
I went to see my GP yesterday & he prescribed me it.. He says it will help my anxiety attacks and also help me sleep better to. (kinda hoping it gets rid of my panic attacks too)
I was all up for taking it ... UNTILL i read the information leaflet. So now i am really anxious.
I had been giving it about a year ago, but my anxiety suddenly just disappeared, but now it's back and worse than ever :-( .. Every day i have a tight chest, gasp or yawn for breath (air hunger) and constantly monitoring my pulse..

Hia hun your anxiety sounds like mine, I have tried some pills but refused anymore I felf like a gunnie pig cause nothing helped. But try it don't read the information leaflet cause you have the symtoms before the tablets kick in.
Try em you said they worked before. Let us no how u get on

I can't think of anything worse than what im gong through right now.
Anxiety along with air hunger / heart palpitations is very hard work :-( & the tablets don't take effect for about 12 days..
I have put the info leaflet in the bin .. and have decided im going to take my 1st tablet at about 10.30 tonight, as apparently they make you sleepy within 30 mins of taking them.
I'll report back tomorrow, lol..

Don't blame u chucking it away I use to read it whenever I felf something its like google in. Air hungry I know its my worst symtom I was training myself last night to breath from my stomach and once I got it right I felt ok then. Its worse when I'm driving to. And my heart was thumping last nt I could see my my t shirt moved but I rode it out with my stomach breathing and it didn't last long.
