Hi everyone, I have been having a bad few days. Doubting my symptoms are anxiety again and afraid there is something serious wrong. I have been feeling dizzy for 6 weeks. Everyday ongoing episodes of lightheadedness, headrushes and general off balance and disorientation. Also feeling slightly odd and removed, spacey?? I really wanted to hear how people manage to actually get on with life with these sort of symptoms. Obviously I am not going to get better so have to learn to live with them, but how?? Its so hars, I am so scared and feel I should stay in and lay down all the time. Does anyone else feel like this and how do you cope? Does anyone actually live a normal life? still work and socialise?? Just need some support please.

I get a weird spacey dizzy feeling, which sometimes hits me out of the blue.. like when Im sat relaxed and watching tv! Then I start to panic a little, thinking Ive got some terrible disease, that Im going delirious/mad, or that the disease is getting worse or Ive something affecting my brain.. then I get visions of having to spend weeks in hospital while they try and find out whats wrong with me.. and all this goes through my head in a matter of seconds!!

I dont work and dont really socialise, and if Im honest I have no idea how or when I will get my life back. I took time out when I got pregnant and lost a loved one.. my son is now 5 and Im still not back in work and things have got a bit worse in some respects. But on the upside Ive read about plenty of ppl leading 'normal' lives and still working etc.. some recovering (slowly) and doing things bit by bit.

I try my best to focus my attention elsewhere, read, talk to my fiance.. distract myself.

Hugs xx.
