So sick of my stupid leg, anyove else had this?

Hi all,

I'm on here again complaining about my leg cause I honestly thought it would have gone away by now (the pain not the leg!!) It started about 8 weeks ago and my leg started tingling and feeling numb and it ached for the following 2 days then went away, but it came back about 3 weeks ago and has more or less been aching since then, it is only my right leg, so I am concerned that there might be something serious going on, like a tumour pressed on a nerve or something, I can't get read of these thoughts in my head as the ache won't seem to go away, anyone else get this and if so have you ever found out what caused it?

Can you be more specific, which part of your leg? Also, are you very athletic, a runner, speed walker, exerciser, gym person?

Hi Lauren, well it can be really weird, cause sometimes the aches is in my thigh, sometimes in my calf, and sometimes in my foot, it's just my right leg and its not painful just aching, and it can come and go. I am not athletic as such, but I did used to do some exercise on my crosstrainer, but I haven't in about 3 weeks. And Angie could you please let me know what is on the utube thingy as I can't access it at work, but I shall have a look tonight. Thanks both.

MVP, If you look at any physiology book, you will see that the nerves run all the way down from the thigh to the foot. I have had this also. It can refer all the way down to the foot and it's hard to know from where it stems. I don't know how easy it is for you to see a specialist but your first bet would be a rheumatologist. An MRI would find any problems but often just from your symptoms and some tests, they can pinpoint it. You will feel so much better after getting it checked. I have had so many things come and go like this, my leg, my arm and it has never turned out to be anything, just normal aches and pains our parents told us about.
