Unfortunately no newbie to anxiety:weep:
Hiya all,
What a great forum this is. I have just had a brief skim over some of the sections and I can see alot of helpful reading i have to do over the next few weeks.
I did make my first post in the medication section but thought it only nice to post in this section aswell.
I am a married 29 year old male who has suffered with Anxiety since I was 18 (first real memory of uncontrollable anxiety) and had to stop working when I was 20. My main symptoms come in the style of vomiting. I can spend days vomiting at a time and have been hospitalised due to dehydration quite a few times in the early days. I have seen a specialist about my stomach who told me I have CVS (Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome) which has no specific treatment and is anxiety related, and to do my best to control that and in turn it will help my stomach.
Anyway, that was a few years ago. I found this website when, like many others, searching the Internet regarding my medication change and I am mighty glad I did:bighug1:
I have decided NOW is the time to stop all of this panick and worry so I am working very hard to try and calm down. I am being attuned in Level 1 Reiki tonight which will hopefully help me control my sickness bouts better (aswell as other things) but I appreciate there is a long way to go.
Anyway, that is me lol. Sorry to bore you all but I can see me spending quite alot of time on here and it is rude to just hang around without introducing myself.:yesyes:
