hi

I have had lots of therapy over the years for my anxiety,

but recently I have bad spell of anxiety again,
it is apparent to me now, that over the years a huge cause of my anxiety has been to worry and over think situations, causing breakdown of relationships, health and career,

http://blog.dreambuilders.com.au/journal/2007/2/26/how-to-stop-overthinking.html

Is like a self sabotage, my over thinking generates lots of negative thoughts and paranoia , which effects others around me,

I intend to focus on a practice now of releasing this over thinking, already I have felt a difference.

early days though.

Hi Dave

You have lots of experience of what does and does not work........the word you use 'overthinking' is quite appropriate.

Quieten the mind and take no opinions............no measuring and anxiety lessens, dont 'try' to do anything, dont try to think positive, just quieten it all down......., take away and dont 'add'. I know within a couple of weeks you will see improvement.

Very best wishes.

Mark

I'm suffering from a bit of this. Over thinking feeling like I can't cope.

I seem to have worries over heath, depression, highly stressed and I fear having a breakdown.

It's caused alot of panic attacks for me.
