This morning i received a letter saying i am entitled to DLA (the lower rate) after 8/9 years of panic attacks and anxiety stopping me from working!
Luckily i have received incapacity benefit pretty much from the start due to the help of a nice person at Citizens Advice and my stubborn nature!
I am posting this as i have heard lots of you say that you are not receiving any help with your finances. I just want to say don't give up! If you are having difficulties contact your doctor and/or Citizens Advice and don't stop until they finally listen!
This is a very debilitating condition and although i would LOVE to get back to work, at the moment it is not possible. I think it is very unfair that we have to fight for benefits when so many people are abusing the system, but hey we are all strong people from coping with our anxiety!
