pain under arm

hi can anyone help i have had like aswollen gland under my arm for a couple of weeks went back to doc they cant feel anything had breast checked no probs there what is this pain is it muscular or will it settle down when period finishes please help

i think it will settle down after period finishes periods do weird things to our bodies if it doesnt go back again to be checked
