Another weird pain has got me worried, about an inch to the right side of my chin (or just under it, under the jaw line) I have this very sore stabbing pain.
Its pretty sore and I’m a bit worried now. I also have a strange cold feeling right on top of my head too…

I’m thinking some trapped/damage nerves? I dunno. Anyone else had this?

This comes from tensing up, try not to worry.

I have had that weird cold feeling on top of my head too, on an off all of my life. I am fine so that seems to be nothing. The chin pain...oh yes, I get that so often, it hurts! I sometimes use ice, sometimes moist heat. I also massage it. I have TMJ and sometimes the muscles in my chin and the ridge extending up to my ear hurt SO much. I take ibuprofen. Like the other poster said, it is tension.

I have to tell you this...one time I was at a friend's house, checked my home answering machine for messages and someone who I find really annoying left a message. The last person I wanted to hear from. Right at that moment, I got the worst chin pain and asked my friend for an ice pack. That showed me that we can get an immediate reaction in our muscles from tension. So don't worry...massage, ice or heat or all three. It never lasts long...if you can take aspirin or ibuprofen, try it.
