Hi Leslie,

Don't worry about how many times you post - that's not a problem.

I had this only when I very first got anxiety and lost over a stone (would have been nice if it hadn't made me look so haggard) but it all went back on in due course.

Could try making a smoothie with bananas and strawberries that you could sip. Or what about the complan kinda drinks just for those days when food is really hard to get down etc.

This will pass and yes it affects lots of us at times.

Carbohydrates work for me when i get really anxious and stressed and off my food. A psychological thing too, but food you can just eat with a fork can appear less daunting. Back to my cure alls ;) mashed potatoes and pasta.

I find the slow release of pasta and mash also have an effect on my panic. Creamy rice pudding also has the same effect and is something i've found i can eat even when i have zero hunger.

I had this when my pa's started about 3 weeks ago, i just didn't want anything to eat and only ate about 3 pieces of melon in 4 days. But then as i learned what the pa's were i got my appetite back a little although it is nothing like it used to be.

Hi Leslie

I had this problem with my anxiety i lost nearly a stone and half and couldn't eat properly i thought there was some thing wrong but when my anxiety got better i started to find i was eating better too and my weight started to go up. Try not to worry too much it will get better once the anxiety has calmed down it happened to me.

take care

Leslie

Tonic/soda water to help with any churniness and if you are getting real burning see your doctor for an antiacid medicine.

When we're anxious we produce more acid which is causing the burming.

Hi Leslie

When my anxiaty levels were high I would feel like this. sometimes it would last for hours, sometimes for a few days. I to am very slim so Mr anxiaty would always be there with her negative thoughts.
Not had this symptom in a long time now.
Try not to worry Leslie, It WILL go.

TAKE CARE

Hi

You are not alone, I feel exactly the same, nauseaous and actual vomitting, this is the worst bit of the anxiety for me. I hate being sick - but then again - who enjoys it?!! I too have lost over a stone in weight cos I have completely lost my appetite, been like this since sunday now and have hardly eaten anything since then. It makes me worry too that I will waste away into nothing. Even the thought of food makes me sick when I feel like this. I've been drinking the complan milkshake drinks but I don't know how long I'll be able to last if I continue to only drink these?? I'm soooo tired.

I'm hoping it will pass soon and trying to keep busy.

I'm a new member (only joined today) and It's settled me a bit for me to hear from other people that have experienced the same when feeling anxious.

How are you now? Hope you are doing fine, let me know
