Question for the ladies

Ive had two borderline smears in the last 6 months and Im going for a colposcopy in June. Not overly worried as Ive done a lot of reading up on it.... but last month my period only lasted a day when it usually lasts about 4-5...... its never done that before. Is it normal?

I'm not sure there is such a thing as normal with menstrual cycles.... Are you overly stressed? Have you been ill? Sorry to ask, but how old are you? Mine is now about 2/3 days long - used to be 4/5 but it suddenly changed one month - no idea why! And, on the odd occasion, I'll get one that lasts only one day.... So, would say it was perfectly normal, you are just having a short one this month - but it won't be smear related....

ok thats good. its always about the same amount of time... 4-5 days. I have been ill yes, and I have been stressd as my dad broke his hip and had to stay with me for 6 weeks. Im 31 years old.
