I have a dental abscess. I am taking pain killers and antibiotics and rubbing the area with Benzocaine cream so it better get better soon or else.:mad:

Have you tried clove oil as well?

I use clove oil. i find it really good but it stinks

The thing is I don't have a cavity but I tend to bite on it at night causing problems and now there is an infection in the gum around the tooth.

I have woken up to find that the swelling has got worse.......:ohmy:

omg trixie i am right with you lol, i had root canal on wednesday and have been in agony since i think its an absess too, trying to get an appointment for today but typical its sat x

I know this sounds werid but i brush the area with anti-bactiral soap.

I am taking Metroniazole as well and Co-dydramol. The pain is in the gum.
