Hi, Ive suffered from panic attacks for 3 years, and decided to come on here to try and see if i'm experiencing normal things, or whether there is something more sinister with me!
When I go to bed, I feel like I can hear my heart beating through my ears and head and it really worries me. I also start to drift off and then wake up with a jump and rush of panic. I also get this feeling or disillusionment and feel like I'm spinning a bit. I'm constantly on the verge of a full blown attack. Does anyone else get this, or is something really wrong??[V]

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

Well so far Ash that sounds totally like anxiety.

Once you've been on here a bit you'll see your symptoms crop up time and time again. You can take comfort from that and know you aren't alone.

"Supposing it didn't," said Pooh after careful thought.

Hi Ash,

After my first PA I was like that all the time. I thought like you that there was something really wrong. Then I found this site [^][^]
The symptoms are all panic and anxity related.

Oh I hat that falling asleep and waking up with a start thing. Since I began to tell myself that it means nothing it hasn't happened quite so much. I play games in my head before I go to sleep now- like how many fruits can I name from the letters of the alphabet- I don't often get past C! It keeps my mind off the whoosy symptoms of falling asleep wich, although perfectly natural, never feel pleasant to me.
You're not alone

I get all those things Ashley. They are definitely just symptoms of anxiety..:D

I get a feeling that the floor is moving up and dowm when I'm tired or anxious, I feel I'm going to roll off the bed as well. I get scared of going to sleep as I worry about oversleeping and waking in a panic from a deep sleep which does happen sometimes.
