Been reading a lot of posts and now to introduce myself.
I'm married (44 years in June) with three married children and six grand children.
In 1982 I was diagnosed with agoraphobia and panic attacks.
Had psychiatric help and it took nearly 11 years to overcome all my fears.
Now, since January this year I had one really bad panic attack and naturally didn’t know how to control it after all those years. It took me over five hours to settle myself down and get my heart rate back to normal.
Have had numerous smaller attacks since then. Another major one just after Easter.
My main problem is night time panic attacks as I am here by myself.
My husband works away a lot.
Also been diagnosed with a hiatus hernia.
