has anyone else been where i am and come though. i am scared i hate feeling like this not sure how to make it go away i trust no one but my husband and he has never let me down. i hate the box i live in i cant go out but i hate staying in hate my windows open or my door. scared of all noises cry most of the time wish it all ends soon i have taken an over dose dont trust myself not to do it again.sometime i dont sleep and other time i fright with my self punch my head cut my head scrach all over my body because i think it itchs but there nothing there at all but cant stop . dont like my phone going have money worries miss my kids but i think they would be better off if i was gone yet i know thats not true i would hurt them more but i cant help the way i feel just one big mess

You are not alone and yes, many people have come through this and out the other side .

I never self harmed but couldn't go out alone either.

Hi Zoe,

I agree with Meg, many many people go through this and come out the other side.

My first bout of anxiety was hidious - I thought I'd completely lost my mind, I didn't have any idea what the physical symtoms were and I was scared stiff. Once I started reading up on stuff and realising what I was suffering from it began to slowly get better.

If I had had this site then it would probably have been a heck of a lot quicker.

Although I suffer anxiety yes, it has never been quite as terrifying as that first few months because now at least I have a name for it and some sort of reference point.

As you begin to try some of the many methods to ease things and realise you are not alone you will start to turn a corner.
