Hi

Well I had the endoscopy today and I am so happy to say it was all clear! :D

They gave me some soup afterwards which I ate no problem - and it had small lumps in! This was thanks to the lovely sedation I had! I was so encouraged that for my tea tonight I ditched the complan and made some stew and liquidised it and didnt sieve out the lumps and I ate it! It took me about an hour but I dont care I ate something that had texture to it!

The consultant told me to eat a soft diet this week and I am going back to see him next week, not sure why as there was no problem.

Now comes the difficult task of mind over matter and trying to get myself eating better! At least I feel more confident that there isnt any physical problem there!

Great news - I am so pleased all is ok for you.

Now you can move on from this and accept that it is anxiety hopefully.

Happy eating!!! Bet you will really enjoy it.

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

Hi Nigel

You make SO much sense! You described exactly how I was feeling and you are right I must look at it from a positive perspective!

I guess old habits are hard to break but I WILL break them and I WILL "rise to the challenge and get myself eating better" :D

Thank you for taking the time to write down such good advice!
