I know you can get a headache from caffeine withdrawal but that's the only symptom I know of. I stopped drinking tea or coffee a few yers ago but even before that I only had one or two a day maximum.
Sorry can't be more help.

Hi Jacy,

I stopped the full strength coffees and teas about 3 or 4 years ago now because my heart palpatations were going crazy and it increased my anxiety :(

I did feel a bit poo for the first 48 hours but it soon passed. Headache and tiredness - that was about it.

Try wheening off it slowly with decaf.

Hope it goes ok - GOOD LUCK :D

Jacy,

If you are a heavy coffee consumer then withdrawal can be very tough

You can wean down first instead of the cold turkey approach

hi jacy,
weaning yourself off is probably better - i just stopped drinking tea and coffee from one day to the next because my panic was so bad. i felt terrible for a while but at the same time i physically couldn't drink anything with caffeine in it because it would make me even more jittery.
thing is, i love love love coffee. i absolutely could not bear to not drink coffee ever again. i am now at a point where i can drink maybe 2 cups of coffee a week.. so no regular caffeine breaks for me but at least i really enjoy coffee when i allow myself to drink it!
