I had a CT scan for severe pain in my 'gallbladder' area. It came back that liver/kidneys/spleen and gallbladder ALL fine......BUT......there is A LOT of unexplained "Free Fluid" in my pelvis.

What is p*ssing me off is this. I've been back and forth to the doctors about 'period' like cramps ALL month, pains in my left leg, painful sex (when i was doing it...lol) irregular periods, bloating...LOADS of symptoms, but i believe because of my mental health, i'm ignored slightly! I've also had several abnormal smear tests to which i have had a colposcopy, two actually.

Obviously after googling free fluid is not a good thing.

I'm now waiting for a gynecologist appointment...
Great!

i aggree, when drs realise u have anxiety or depression, they blame all symptoms on it!

very annoying

Yes , this is what makes me worry sometimes if i have on going same symptoms , that they will pass it of as anxiety . I think we all should be aware that if it is something that never goes away and is really giving us discomfort or pain we need to be assertive with our GPs and demand further tests , we are entitled to .

a lot of this sounds similar to endometriosis - do you have it? it's of course something that many women have and treat and manage but it's good to deal with it and see a specialist because it can be painful. it's good you are going to see a gyno.. hopefully one who will explore all options with you.

doctors are paid to treat symptoms not find the cause. sad but true. if they made us all healthy, they wouldnt make any money from prescriptions. natural healing is the way to go. if you need any info, let me know. x
